|Anne Doyle McLean was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland where she received her secondary education at Loretto Academy. After moving to the United States she worked with her twin sister as a flight attendant for United Air Lines. She commenced her undergraduate studies at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She and her husband moved to San Francisco where she continued her undergraduate studies and earned her B.A. degree in English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. She later earned her M.A. degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at the University of San Diego and is a licensed MFT in California.
Anne is married with two adult children in their twenties. Anne started her clinical therapy work at San Diego Youth and Community Services (SDYCS) in Ocean Beach, San Diego. At PsyCare she works with individuals, couples, and children. Since receiving her M.A. in 1996, she has continued her professional training at seminars and workshops relevant to her clinical work. Anne’s outside interests include sports, reading, and traveling to foreign countries. She returns to her native Ireland each year to visit family and friends.
