Dr. Fait completed her medical school training in 1992 at the George
Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. She then went
on to complete an internal medicine internship and her psychiatry
residency at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.
After completion of her training, Dr. Fait was appointed Assistant
Professor at UC Davis Medical Center. She was an attending physician on
the Consultation-Liaison service in the Department of Psychiatry,
supervising medical students and residents. She was first author on the
chapter on psychopharmacology in the "Textbook of Consultation-Liaison
Psychiatry" by Wise and Rundell. She also worked at Kaiser Permanente in
Sacramento prior to her move to the San Diego area in 2001.
Currently Dr. Fait is an outpatient psychiatrist specializing in the
pharmacological management of psychiatric disorders. She has a special
interest in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and the
psychiatric manifestations of medical disease. Dr. Fait is a Board
Certified Physician.
