|Matthew F. Geromi, D.O. is a board-certified Psychiatrist. Dr. Geromi has experience in treating patients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and personality disorders. Dr. Geromi completed his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the oldest osteopathic medical schools, founded in 1899. Dr. Geromi completed the Psychiatry Residency Program at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida, after a year internship in Family medicine at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During residency, Dr. Geromi served as Chief Resident of Psychiatry for two years, before completion in June 2013. Additionally, Dr. Geromi has received Level I Depression and Anxiety training from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Dr. Matthew Geromi contributes to the Psychiatry Profession through conference presentations and clinical research. He also serves as an Item Writer and National Faculty for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. In addition, Dr. Geromi has served as an adjunct professor for the Larkin School of Nursing in Miami, FL.
Dr. Geromi enjoys travel, aviation, hiking, cycling and attending classical music performances. He currently resides in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego.
