|Rodrigo is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from San Diego Christian College in 2006 and his Masters in Counseling from National University in 2008.
Being adopted into the United States from Brazil at the age of 12, Rodrigo has a unique perspective on the challenges an individual may encounter when adjusting to a new culture. Rodrigo is fluent in Portuguese.
Rodrigo has a great passion for psychology. He has worked with children ages 5-18, individuals, couples, families, and groups. Rodrigo has experience working with both adults and children who are having challenges with depression, anxiety, divorce and bipolar disorder. He helps couples build their relationship on emotional connections and vulnerability. Through his volunteer work at San Diego Hospice, he provided emotional support to families of loved ones who were at the last stages of their lives. He has also worked at Juvenile Hall, where he provided individual and group therapy for children. In addition, he has provided therapeutic services to parents of children who are experiencing behavioral challenges.
