About Alexandra Wyatt, MFT

The ability to hold space while witnessing the emergence of one’s authentic self begins to bloom is why I am grateful for what I experience in my professional roles.

As a Clinical Director who has worked with the Justice-Involved population, both pre, as well as post release where assessment of criminogenic risk and needs is paramount, the beauty of fostering awareness with clients from a mind, body and Spirit framework, has been immensely purposeful in the therapeutic relationship. Thus, variant facets of humanity and personality development have been revealed. I have specialized in personal and professional development, resiliency coaching, motivational modeling, leadership, authentic living, communicative competency while promoting understanding of the duality of character as well as a greater understanding of the totality of the human Spirit.

As a Clinician, my professional focus centers on individual, couples, marriage counseling, and family therapy with a focus on human dynamics, depression, anxiety, career counseling, sports psychology, intimate partner relationships, Systemic structures, eating disorders, employment stressors, shyness, public speaking, athletic performance, dating, sexuality and intimacy, assertive communication, self-worth, transitional life stages, bereavement, weight and body image, trauma, inter/intra-personal growth, Substance Use, LGBTQIA matters, Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome with the primary objective is for the therapeutic relationship to be a catalyst to encourage Genuineness of Being.

The ability to utilize a highly integrative approach designed to specifically address each client presenting concerns to reach the understanding of purpose within the therapeutic outcome, while incorporating Superhero-Therapy, DBT, CBT, Positive Psychology and an array of additional modalities, allows for a diverse pallet into the emergence of the Authentic self. I am a member of JISTA, which is the marriage of the Justice-Involved System and Behavioral Health representatives within the County. I am also a member of SASH, which is the society of advancement of sexual health as well as being a member of other organizations relating to the mental health arena. AFCC is the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Additionally well trained in restorative justice.
