About Chantal Flanagan, PMHNP

Chantal Flanagan has been working in the psychiatric mental health field for 33 years starting her career in the inpatient setting. She earned a Master's Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from UCSF in 1993. She earned her Post Master's Certificate as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Rush University in 2009 and has worked with all age groups (children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) in the outpatient setting.

Prior to working at Lifestance, Chantal worked in Mental Health Systems in an intensive case managed wrap around program treating the severely mentally ill population. She also previously worked for the Scripps Health System on the Psychiatric Liaison Team conducting psychiatric evaluations in their Emergency Departments making referrals while prescribing necessary medications. It has been her life's mission to assist others in balancing their mind, body, and spirit while utilizing a team approach to achieve their highest potential.
