About Christine Magnon, LMFT

Christine is a Marriage and Family therapist by training, having graduated with her master’s degree from Pepperdine University. She has been practicing in the mental health field for over 13 years, working in both direct client and administrative roles. She has expertise in treating clients who struggle with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. She has special interest in working with women struggling with infertility and young adults going through life transitions.

Coming from a self-psychology perspective, building a relationship and foundation with someone is key to making this type of work together meaningful and productive. Christine looks at our behaviors and the linkage between behaviors and outcomes, opening the door to explore alternate options to help further growth. She also uses solution focused strategies, paying particular attention to strengths, skills and resources to help attain future goals. With all this, Christine is the type of therapist who will sit with you in your struggle and be an empathetic ear, who will challenge you when you need it and will help to find joy and humor in situations because we all need laughter in our lives too.

When she’s not working, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being outdoors and trying delicious foods.
