About Cynthia Angell, LCSW

Cynthia has over 13 years experience working with a diverse population including children, adolescents, adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Cynthia received her B.A. in Behavioral Science at Cal Poly Pomona and her Masters of Social Work at San Diego State University. She has extensive experience working with children and teens in clinic, school and community venues, assisting them in developing social and anger management skills. Other areas for special interest include women's issues, depression, anxiety and working with survivors of domestic violence. Cynthia has a passion for making a difference in the lives of her clients, using a client centered approach incorporating play therapy, cognitive, solution focused and family systems therapy techniques.
