About Danielle Bell-Dunnam, LMFT

Danielle Bell-Dunnam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California who has been practicing since 2019. Danielle has a versatile, direct, and creative approach to therapy. She has the ability to form relationships with a wide audience from various cultures, ages, symptoms, and needs rather quickly. This allows for her to conceptualize the client’s reasons for coming to therapy fairly quickly, but also ongoing, so that she may tailor her style and theoretical approach(es) in a way that resonates with clients. While Danielle tends to approach most clients with a directive style, she is able to adjust according to the client’s needs and personality. Danielle is down to earth, has a great deal of life experience which she believes is an incredible asset for her practice, and she tends to use humor, when appropriate, with her clients. Danielle has a wealth of experience with kids of all ages, although adolescents and adults are her strongest areas, and understands how sessions need to often include some creative interventions to keep them engaged. Danielle regularly asks for and encourages feedback about therapy so that she can ensure they are on the right track to meet the client’s goals. In her free time, Danielle loves to travel, see live music, explore new music, go on long, and explorative walks even in her own neighborhood. She is passionate about playing games of all kinds - highly strategic board games to silly common board games to active sports, video games, lawn games, and ones such as pool, shuffleboard, darts and....well, you name it! She loves to hang out with her friends and family and enjoys watching most sports. Her favorite sport and sincere passion is volleyball, and she plays regularly, mostly beach but also indoor and grass.
