About Diane Carota, MFT

Diane Carota is a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist in the state of California. She enjoys working with adults, families and teenagers. Diane has worked in various settings throughout her 20 year career, including hospitals, community based behavioral health clinics, schools, as well as other outpatient settings.

Diane uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help her patients identify, correct negative and destructive thought patterns and behavior. As well, as short term psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore unconscious processes as they are manifested in the client’s present behavior. Diane is also experienced in other treatment modalities that will be used on an individual basis. Some of her clinical experiences include working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship difficulties, post trauma related symptoms, grief, divorce, blended families and parenting issues.
