About Eric Behrman, Ph.D.

Dr. Behrman grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and went to private school in Amenia, NY, college in Ripon, WI, and received his Master's degree and Doctorate in 1987 from United States International University in San Diego, CA. Dr. Behrman brings to PsyCare over 25 years of experience helping people with the questions, struggles, and challenges, as well as honoring the accomplishments, in their lives. He has worked as a staff psychologist in community-based social service agencies, in private practice settings and at the California State Correctional Facility in Otay Mesa. Dr. Behrman thrives on working with people from all walks of life with all sorts of concerns, helping to put the pieces of their life puzzle together. For many years, Dr. Behrman supervised and trained graduate students in psychology and since he cannot stay away from school, he currently teaches graduate courses to counseling students at Argosy University.

He is married to a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has two step-sons, two daughters-in-law and is the proud grandfather to an amazing grandson.
