About Gloria Wetterstrom, LMFT

Gloria Wetterstrom is a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, 18 and older, by helping them to develop the necessary tools to increase their quality of life. Gloria earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from California State University, Chico in 2009. She has experience working with at risk youth and their families as well as transitional age young adults in building and strengthening independent living skills. Gloria has many years of experience working with adult survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence in addition to having a part-time private practice. Her work experience has been in community-based programs, county mental health programs, non-profit and for-profit entities. Her training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Seeking Safety, Domestic Violence, Trauma Informed and Client Centered Engagement. Gloria’s approach to therapy emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship. She is also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
