About Jack Negrete, LCSW

Jack Negrete is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 1998. He received a BA in Human Services and Counseling from California State University at Dominguez Hills and an MSW from University of Southern California. Jack has experience practicing in many different situations such as Correctional Facilities both for adults and adolescents, Public Family and Children services, County Mental Health Centers, Christian Counseling Center, and private practice. He has training in CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, Addictions Treatment and Group Therapy. He enjoys working with clients from all backgrounds including individuals, families, couples, children, and teens. He enjoys working with people to aid them in understanding themselves better so that they may have the freedom to make real choices in life. He is skilled in working with issues that stem from trauma, the addictive process, and the pain that can result from attachment wounds. In his free time, Jack enjoys writing, reading, hiking, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.
