About Janet Distefan, PhD, LMFT

Janet Distefan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She received a BA from the University of California, San Diego, an MA in Counseling Psychology from National University, and a PhD from the University of California, San Diego. She has been licensed since 2006, providing comprehensive clinical care for issues such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Janet can effectively provide a platform for the next steps. Her specialties include general mental health, anxiety and panic disorders, depression, and general relationship challenges (family, friends, co-workers). Outside of work, Janet enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing, and exercising.
