About Julianne Barak, MFT

Julianne Barak, MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her BA from California State University and a Master's Degree from National University in San Diego, CA. She was trained by the EMDR International Institute working with clients with trauma. She has clinical experience at various mental health agencies, including Turning Point Crisis Center, Children's Hospital (outpatient), Hospice of North Coast and night APS operation. She has over 10 years experience providing counseling services to adults, couples, families, children, and elders with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, aging, trauma, domestic violence, communication problems and life's transitions. She has been married for 40 years and has successfully raised a son. Julianne enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with her husband, son, and friends.
