About Kirby Wohlander, LCSW

Kirby Wohlander, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has a broad range of experience that includes work with individuals, couples, and families, in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, and providing treatment to a wide range of adult clients. During his many years of experience, he has worked in multiple human service settings, and is familiar with the challenges presented by: military life, developmental and other disabilities, being a worker or manager in a complex organization, raising a family, balancing work and family, and substance use.

He uses a gentle, compassionate approach to help people overcome their symptoms, such as anxiety, panic, and/or depression, or other psychological challenges. His methods may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and a variety of other interventions that are proven effective and can bring substantial relief. His goal is to provide clients with new ways of seeing and understanding themselves and their life situation. He strives to offer people new skills and techniques for coping with life stress, and to help them establish new ways of coping that will help them move forward in their lives in successful ways that work for them.
