About Leslie Salas, LCSW

Leslie Salas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 2023. Leslie, as a first-generation Mexican American, is passionate about providing mental health support to those who are bilingual or monolingual (Spanish/English). She understands and empathizes with the challenges faced by individuals coming to the United States. Leslie offers Evidence-Based Therapy approaches such as DBT, ACT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. She primarily works with adult clients dealing with Co-Occurring disorders, Substance Use, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Personality Disorders. Leslie also offers end-of-life support, grief counseling, and caregiver support. She has experience working with clients experiencing homelessness and individuals with low income. She possesses knowledge of community resources and referrals that can assist clients in their home environment. Leslie believes she can help clients who desire change by building on their strengths and making positive changes in their lives. Outside of work, Leslie loves to read fantasy books. She has three dogs and takes them out to the dog park and the dog beach. She is native to San Diego, CA, and loves to explore different restaurants.
