As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am qualified to provide initial psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for mental health issues. I do not provide traditional psychotherapy; however, I do work with patients and family members to build a therapeutic alliance where you and I discover what is meaningful for you in your life.
To help you in your journey towards healing and wholeness, I will use over 38 years of experience with the understanding that people are unique individuals deserving of respect. Throughout my career, I have worked with adults, children, and adolescents in both hospital and outpatient settings. I have always had a passion for those adversely affected by mental illness. The time spent working at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital for 26 years allowed me to serve children and adolescents by meeting their medical and psychosocial needs.
My preference is to work with children and adolescents (ages 6-18) but will work with young adults/middle aged individuals (ages 19-65).
I look forward to working with you!
