Rubina has worked in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient clinics, and community mental health agencies around Los Angeles & San Diego, thereby giving her a wealth of experience in aiding clients from all walks of life achieve their goals. Her area of specialty is working with adolescents, young adults and cultural issues/struggles.
Rubina is trained in EMDR- (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Part 1 & 2; Certified in evidenced based practices: MAP –(Managing & Adapting Practices), Certified in (ICARE) –( Assessment of young children using the infancy, childhood & relationship enrichment initial intake assessment tool) and utilizes many different therapeutic approaches such as CBT and Solution Focused therapy.
