Sandy Vought is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master's degree in 2003 from San Diego State University and was licensed in 2010. Sandy began working with children with autism and Asperger's disorders in 1998. After finishing her degrees, she went on to work as the clinical coordinator for early intervention through a local autism agency. She began working at Vista Hill with children and families with multiple childhood disorders and parenting issues. She also has worked extensively with death and dying issues, and adult chronic mental illness. Her training is in cognitive behavioral therapy, short-term solution focused therapy, family systems therapy, as well as mindfulness strategies. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism spectrum disorders, grief, and adjustment issues. Sandy enjoys helping children and adults identify needs, assess their own strengths and reach their goals.
