About Stephanie Danial, LMFT

Many people struggle with complex emotional issues and negative patterns of behavior and thought. I believe my clients are very powerful and brave to begin the journey of self-discovery and healing. As your therapist and partner in this work, I hold a safe space for you to approach your struggles by working together to understand your goals, develop greater insight and create the coping skills and strategies for a more satisfying and emotionally harmonious life. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, studied psychology at an undergraduate level at Rutgers University in New Jersey and later completed my graduate work in Counseling Psychology at National University in San Diego, California. I have experience working collaboratively with families, couples, and individuals including a spectrum of ages ranging from childhood, adolescents and adulthood. My work has focused on those struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, negative thoughts, relationship problems and issues of self-esteem and identity. My approach is one of respectfulness and warmth incorporating the modalities of DBT, CBT, humanistic, psychodynamic, and family systems.
