About Wendy Alva, PMHNP

Wendy Alva is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in California who has been practicing since 2000. She graduated as a Masters Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of San Diego and a Post-Masters Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. Wendy values partnering with patients to help find the best options to fit one’s individual needs to facilitate healing. She believes in an integrative and holistic approach to care. Wendy has a special interest and training in treating children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Outside of work, Wendy loves spending time with her husband and 3 teenage children. She enjoys singing, playing piano, cooking, eating, hiking, camping, traveling. and being outdoors.
