About Yana Drukin, LCSW

Yana Drukin is a Board Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social work and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Israel. In addition, she completed 3 years of Psychoanalytically Oriented Psychotherapy study and training. She has 13 years of experience working in outpatient mental health clinics and private practice settings.

In her practice she utilizes multimodal therapeutic approaches as psychodynamic, CBT, brief intervention, psycho-educational, coaching, and can adapt her treatment approach to meet the client’s needs. She practices individually, groups, marital counseling, co-therapy, and supervision. She treats children from age 5 through seniors with a wide variety of mental health diagnosis, relationship issues and situational problems of living. Her clients belong to diverse cultural/ethnic groups. She provides psychotherapy in English, Russian, and Hebrew.

She believes that decision to address mental discomfort requires courage and may serve as first step to emotional freedom. Her goal is to create safe therapeutic relationships in which clients can freely explore issues from their past or present, work it though and change negative, destructive behaviors.
